“Yes, I knew he had another son, yes I did,” Jackson said in the video. He also discussed Omer Bhatti’s dancing abilities and his resemblence to the Jackson clan. “He looks like a Jackson, acts like a Jackson, can dance like a Jackson,” he said. As a child, Omer Bhatti often traveled with Michael Jackson and even lived at the singer’s Neverland ranch. Court records show Bhatti was living at Neverland when authorities raided the estate in 2003 looking for evidence of child molestation. Omer Bhatti was briefly interviewed by investigators and was initially on the defense’s list of prospective witnesses. But he was never asked to testify. At Michael Jackson’s memorial at Staples, Omer Bhatti was prominently seated in the front row next to the pop star’s children and siblings. Omer Bhatti is also said to be seeking a DNA test to determine whether Jackson is in fact his father. Jackson’s brother Jermaine has said Bhatti would be welcomed into the family, if he’s proven a Jackson. “If Omer’s his son, he’s his son,” Jermaine told Britain’s the Daily Mail. ‘We won’t deny it. We are going to give him the same love and care that we give Prince and Paris and Blanket. I can’t clearly say if he is Michael Jackson’s but I saw this kid around him.” In 2004, Us Weekly reported that Jackson did, indeed, acknowledge that he was the father. A source told the magazine: “Michael Jackson has told his closest associates Omer’s mom’s was a Norwegian with whom he had a one night stand.”

Green Hornet's Seth Rogen and the Black Beauty by popculturegeek.com.

Seth Rogen unveiled the Black Beauty, a modified 1965 Chrysler Crown Imperial he’ll drive in “The Green Hornet.” Seth Rogen, with writing partner Evan Goldberg, wrote the script to the upcoming big screen relaunch of the comic book and TV show about a masked crime fighter. The vehicle is an homage to the Black Beauty driven by Van Williams in the original series. Seth Rogen said the car’s weapons which include rockets, mini guns and a “big flame thrower” were upgraded for the film to make them more powerful. The original Black Beauty from the 1960s TV show was equipped with explosive charges, gas nozzles and a scanner.

Michael Jackson Film $50Million

Michael Jackson Rehearsal - Ensayos by chande legion.

The winning studio would produce the film with Michael Jackson’s concert promoter, AEG Live, and his estate. It would go a long way to helping AEG Live recoup some of the $30 million to $32 million it spent producing the concert before Michael Jackson died June 25. The bidding was reported earlier by the Los Angeles Times and industry blogger Nikki Finke. Sony Pictures has a leg up on other bidders because Sony Music distributes Michael Jackson’s music and is in a 50 50 partnership with his estate in Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Sony’s bid is on par with the cost of making a mid range budget movie, and is offset by the fact that the Sony group of companies would benefit from the music licensing rights attached to the film.

Russell Brand came under attack during his debut last year MTV VMA for cracking jokes about the JoBros’.  American Idol winner Jordin Sparks was so taken aback that she took the British bad boy comedian to task when she hit the stage to introduce a performance by T.I. “It’s not bad to wear a promise ring, because not everybody guy or girl wants to be a slut,” Jordin Sparks said Russell Brand, of course, didn’t let things rest there. Returning to the stage, Russell Brand said, “I don’t want to piss off teenage fans. Promise rings, I’m well up for it. But a bit of sex, it never hurt anybody.” Wonder who Russell Brand will be targeting this time around? Miley Cyrus, anyone? MTV VMA also announced this morning that the show will include performances by Taylor Swift and British rockers Muse. This year’s show will be telecast live from New York’s Radio City Music Hall Sept. 13.

Ben & Brandon by s~revenge.

“I have been certain since I was a child that I was going to be an artist,”  Brandon Boyd explained. “I didn’t have aspirations of being a doctor or a lawyer or a professional athlete, other than I thought for a hot second, when I was a teenager, that I wanted to be a professional surfer.” Sadly, a career in surfing was not in the cards. “I realized very quickly that I wasn’t good enough,” Boyd laughed. His fall back, art, saw him explore and enjoy its many forms. He said writing, rehearsing, recording and performing music soon became his clear favorites. Brandon Boyd and two similarly obsessed and talented friends, Mike Einziger and Jose Pasillas, started the high school band Incubus that has evolved into the multi platinum selling and Grammy Award nominated group called Incubus. Former Roots bassist Ben Kenney and DJ Chris Kilmore round out the group’s current lineup. For Brandon Boyd and Incumbus, creativity is addictive. “It almost acts like a drug that is good for you,” he said. Meanwhile, the resulting buzz the self inducing, self sustaining, creative thrill that is art makes it the number one drug of choice on the Incubus tour. Coincidentally enough, the bands’ tour buses are set to roll into the docks at the Hard Rock Hotel today as Incumbus the group gets ready to visit The Joint tonight.
