Tiger Woods Mum on Accident

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Tiger Woods by john11k.

Tiger Woods, 33, may not be talking because “there is possibly something unpleasant and embarrassing that he doesn’t want to share with them, and he has that right,” says Toobin from CNN. “Based on what is publicly known, Woods has a public relations problem much more than a legal problem. Tiger Woods arguably the most famous athlete in the world, and his team’s overall strategy is a gamble that his general statement of responsibility for the accident won’t be overtaken by events or other disclosures.” Should Tiger remain quiet and let things blow over, if they may?

“2012″ a One Night Stand?

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

2012, The Movie... "We were warned" by JorgeBrazil.

As for “2012,” Friday it grossed 23.7 million, it’s an auspicious start for a $200 million apocalyptic themed film, which stars John Cusack. A typically action packed Emmerich delivery, it’s an easily translatable movie that appears as if it’s doing what the filmmakers offerings do best: play big abroad. Emmerich’s 2004 disaster movie, ”Day after Tommorow” for example, earned 66 percent of its $544.3 million global box office haul in international ticket sales. It opened to $68.7 million on a Memorial Day weekend. Sony reported Friday that “2012″ has already gotten off to a hot start in France, where it enjoyed the second biggest non sequel opening. With global prints and advertising costs exceeding $100 million, it will probably need to match or exceed “Day After Tomorrow” performance to be considered profitable.

Steven Tyler back Aerosmith

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

Aerosmith 01 by Serjao Carvalho.

Joe Perry even went on to talk about replacing their iconic frontman, but Steven Tyler has now spoken out about the rumours and baffled his bandmates by insisting he has no plans to leave the group. The singer teamed up with Joe Perry on stage in New York on Tuesday night for the guitarist’s Joe Perry Project gig, to belt out their Aerosmith hit “Walk This Way.” And during the encore Tyler took the opportunity to reassure fans the reports of his departure are not true. Steven Tyler told the crowd, “I just want New York to know that I’m not leaving Aerosmith. The break up it just ain’t true.”

Steven Tyler leaves Aerosmith

Steven Tyler 001 by iwblogger.

“Once the band hit the final note and I walk off stage then I’ll tell you the whole story,” an exuberant Steven Tyler announced to Classic Rock minutes before Aerosmith played a triumphant set to a crowd of over 50,000 adrenalized punters at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The future of Aerosmith looks uncertain at moment as they approach their 40th anniversary in 2010. Since falling off stage whilst the band were on tour with ZZ Top, Steven Tyler has decided to pull out of a planned South American tour at the end of the year and seems intent on pursuing solo projects, as he revealed to Classic Rock. “I don’t know what I’m doing yet, but it’s definitely going to be something Steven Tyler working on the brand of myself Brand Tyler.”
