Ashlee Simpson landed a role as Violet Foster on the remake of the 1990s soap opera Melrose Place earlier this year , but it was announced last month that her character would be cut as part of a Melrose Place revamp. Jessica Simpson the actress/singer made her feelings for the teen program known when Jessica Simpson took to her Twitter.com page on Monday  to blast Melrose Place the TV scriptwriters and praise Ashlee her sister for making the show more interesting. She wrote, “Catching up on MP. Who writes this crap? I have had bad scripts to work with, but this? thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press”
