Ewan McGregor by Barbara.Doduk.

“I like kissing boys on screen,” Ewan McGregor tells Our magazine of smooching Jim Carrey in the upcoming “I Love You Phillip Morris” “As a straight guy, it’s quite an interesting proposition. Anything on a film set that takes you by surprise like that, that gets your blood up, is good.” The film, in which Ewan McGregor and Jim Carrey play lovers, was initially supposed to be released last year, but according to McGregor, the studio executives behind the Disney’s a Christmas Carol” were scared that Jim Carrey portrayal of a gay man would confuse their audience.

MTV NO Music in Logo?

Nick Jonas by JonasBrothersAreOffTheChain.

It was a minor change with major symbolism. Remember the MTV we grew up with when music was king, and watching Music Videos was Awesome, the network known more for its scripted reality show programming these days than the music videos and industry it revolutionized dropped the “Music Television” tagline from the MTV Logo. This is the last straw for us music loveers, sure we knew every year more and more music was going from MTV, with the new Logo, MTV had those “Jersey Shore watching millennials in mind. ”It represents a new visually defined MTV, stimulating its past, present and future and embracing its diversity. Everything from Jersey Shore to the VMAs to collaborations with the MoMA. The logo is part of MTV’s re invention to connect with today’s millennial generation and bring them in as part of the channel.” And with that, “Music Television” can officially rest in peace, this time I think the music has died on MTV, can I wear my MTV sweatshirt anymore? Does anyone out there care?

Justin Long on or off Drew?

Friday, February 5th, 2010
Actors Justin Long and Drew Barrymore by vainstyle.
Engagement rumors apparently aren’t that big of a deal. During a chat this week with Ryan Seacrest, Drew Barrymore laughed off reports that she’s set to make Justin Long hubby No. 3. “It’s a rumor,” the perpetually upbeat actress said in response to the aisle walk chatter, which began after she supposedly announced her betrothal on Facebook. “We said no, but people don’t want to listen.” Barrymore, who, it turns out, doesn’t even have a Facebook account, insists she isn’t bothered by talk that she and the actor are looking to settle down. “There are worse things to be being said,” shrugs Drew, who rekindled her PDA packed romance with Justin last year. “It’s not a mean lie. And also, I can’t pay attention to that stuff. There are too many far more important things going on.”
