 Hullabaloo Flickers by Vermont Ferret.

January is Going to be filled with a lot of old and new shows, don’t want to get overly critical about the fall season,  it did deliver some good laughs and a few solid shocks but let’s be honest, overall it was pretty much a dud. Now here’s the great news, we get to keep most of those good shows AND we’re getting even more awesome shows too! How about American Idol and the Paula train wreck? Want to download some great TV show or Movies, Games

Here is just a few of the shows that are starting up in January 2009 season:

Coldplay to fight suit against Joe Satriani

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

In this July 14, 2008 file photo, Chris Martin of the band Coldplay ...

In response to Coldplay’s statement, Satriani’s lawyer, Howard E. King, said Coldplay’s public reaction was dramatically different from how the guitarist’s claims were treated before the lawsuit was filed.  “We attempted to have a dialogue on this before we went public,” King said. “We felt almost forced to file suit.”  As far as the ‘coincidence,’ ultimately that’s for a jury to decide,” he added. King said it’s common for musicians to be influenced by other works and incorporate it into their own, sometimes a little too closely.  “It doesn’t mean you don’t owe something to the original composer,” he said.    In a statement released on Tuesday, the band responded to a copyright infringement lawsuit filed by guitarist Joe Satriani “If there are any similarities between our two pieces of music, they are entirely coincidental, and just as surprising to us as to him. Joe Satriani is a great musician, but he did not write the song ‘Viva La Vida.’ We respectfully ask him to accept our assurances of this and wish him well with all future endeavours.”

Kevin Federline hopes for a reconciliation with Britney Spears?

Kevin Federline: My Side of the Story| Britney Spears, Kevin Federline

It’s hard enough to be in a marriage, and then have kids, it changes everything. For me, I’d become more concerned with my children. Not that I ignored Britney, but my kids are always most important , I mean, we were having complications. I didn’t give her an ultimatum, but I was trying to work stuff out with her, and she didn’t even talk to me or anything and went behind my back and filed for divorce.  Was completely blindside.  I told them that I would spend every last dime that I had to make sure that my children are okay. That’s all that mattered. I didn’t know how much power Britney had. That really scared me. Said Kevin Federline.   Oh, man, it’s totally turning around. It works out that the kids get to see her. There’s structure over there, there’s structure at my house. We’re trying to keep the same type of schedule. It doesn’t have to be completely perfect, but the foundation is there.  “I’m one to never say never,” Kevin Federline said, when asked about the chances of a reconciliation. “I mean, I’m not going to sit here and say I’m geared up to go that route, but who knows what the future holds for anybody.”

Is this Caroline “Caz” Pal Michael Phelps girlfriend?

Friday, November 28th, 2008

Very little known about Caroline “Caz” Pal. She is reported to be around 26 years of age and is a cocktail waitress at Moon Nightclub, located in the swanky Palms in Las Vegas. Caroline Pal has been dating Michael Phelps for the last two months. It must be serious, since Michael took Caroline home to Baltimore to spend thanksgiving with his family. My question is did Michael take Caroline to his new $1.69 million waterfront condo?  The 4080 square foot condo overlooking Baltimore’s revitalized Harborfront, features a private screening room, rooftop terrace. Below is a picture of the building in which Michael Phelps lives.

Axl Rose Accuses Dr Pepper of Malpractice(E! Online) ...

The soft-drink slinger had arranged to bestow online coupons to any thirsty seeker who visited its website on Nov. 23, but the site crashed due to well, high traffic brought on by people’s insatiable desire for free stuff. The promotion was extended for another day, but the site was unreachable for most of it, per Rose. And despite what surely is Rose’s sympathy for those who have trouble meeting customer demand, his lawyer is calling the attention getting ploy an “unmitigated disaster which defrauded customers. Axl Rose wants full page apologies in the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today. Guns N’ Roses would like some money now, too.   Dr Pepper  says: “For us, this was a fun giveaway that has always been about the fans, and we’ve taken great steps to fulfill it, including:

•  extending the window for the giveaway from 24 to 42 hours

• Adding a toll-free line to handle consumer requests for the coupons

• Setting up an interactive voice recorder to accept coupon requests This was one of the largest responses we have ever received for a giveaway, and we’re happy we were able to satisfy the thirst of so many Dr Pepper fans.”

Was on the site sunday about 130am was able to fill out info for vocher. Anybody else was able to get through or not? How is Chinese Democracy sales doing? Will it get the #1 spot?

Will Smith

For those of you that might not know what the “Oldboy”  story is about it’s about a man who is kidnapped for 15 years and seeks revenge on the people who kidnapped him. Will’s writing team that did “I am legend” will write the screenplay and of course Spielberg will direct. With the entertainment business bracing for a strike, this might be a good time for this movie.  Steven Spielberg is just getting done getting his dreamworks company away from the hands of Paramount. Will Smith has “Seven Pounds” coming out in the next few weeks. Then both parties might be free to do “Oldboy.

nipple malfunction to go to Supreme Court

Monday, November 24th, 2008

This incident happened at the super bowl in 2004, now the  US government has asked the Supreme Court to reimpose the $500,000 fine that was earlier dropped. Justin Timberlake has publicly apoligized for this incident several years ago. Janet Jackson has always said it was a “wardrobe malfunction,” amid criticism from some quarters that it looked every bit as carefully choreographed as their routine, watched by 90 million viewers at home. After a three-year court fight, a federal court in Philadelphia in July ruled that the network could not be held responsible for Janet Jackson’s actions. Now the US government wants to reimpose the fine. This is just adding fuel to a long publicty event that is only benefiting Janet Jackson’s career and Justin Timberlake. It is up to the Supreme Court to decide whether it will consider the request.

Male Escort: Boy George Handcuffed, Whipped Me(E! Online) ...

Well Boy George is at it again  29-year-old Audun Carlsen, a male escort was in a british court describing how he was beaten and handcuffed to Boy George’s wall. He met george thru the website Gaydar, they got to the bedroom and snapped some shots, Carlsen said, then George suddenly invited a second, unidentified man to join them, they held me down and beat me. I could not move,” Carlsen testified, per the BBC. “They pulled me down on to the floor and they were sitting on top of me. The other man didn’t beat me he just helped George to hold me down. George was slapping me and beating me and punching me and screaming things.” Carlsen managed to wriggle free of the restraints by unscrewing the hook and fled the apartment in nothing but his underwear. Now this guy Carlsen showed up two times is he enjoying this or is Boy George out of control, with all his addictions?
